The San Diego County Dental Society was founded in 1887 and is the largest professional organization representing dentists in San Diego and Imperial counties. Comprised of a diverse group of dentists throughout the region, Their over 2,000 member-strong association is the local arm of both the California Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Membership in Their Society is voluntary.

Their members are held to a high ethical standard and excellence in patient treatment. Their policies protect the integrity of dentistry and provide meaningful resources for the advancement of patient care. They advocate for the profession at the local and state levels and provide continuing education for dentists, and in doing so make Their dentists better clinicians and more successful entrepreneurs. They are the recognized professional resource for dentists in both their business and in their patient’s care.
