Romanian College of Physicians (RCP) / Colegiul Medicilor din Romania (CMR)

The Romanian College of Physicians (CMR) was established in 1995. Currently, CMR operates under Law no. 95/2006 on health care reform.

Mission and Vision:
The Romanian College of Physicians (CMR) is the national professional organization of doctors, being an institution of public interest, non-governmental, apolitical and without patrimonial purpose.

The Romanian College of Physicians has legal personality and is autonomous in relation to any public authority, exercising its attributions without the possibility of any interference.

The main object of activity of CMR is the control and supervision of the exercise of the medical profession, the application of laws and regulations that organize and regulate the exercise of the profession, the representation of the interests of the medical profession and maintaining the prestige of this profession in social life.
