The Paulista Society of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging was founded on March 3, 1968, in the city of Jaú, interior of São Paulo. Currently, the entity brings together more than 7,800 members, covering all areas of Diagnostic Imaging.

Integrated with the Department of Diagnostic Imaging of the Paulista Medical Association (APM) and affiliated with the Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (CBR), the SPR, represented by its presidents, has been dedicated over the years especially to the defense of radiologists. , the scientific development and promotion of the specialty, within the highest principles of professionalism.
