Mission:
• The Quebec Association of Sports and Exercise Physicians has been in existence since 1997 and brings together Quebec physicians who are interested in sports medicine.
• It encourages and supports scientific activities likely to promote the advancement of sports medicine. Cutting-edge information is disseminated at Their annual conference.
• Through the growing recognition of Their members, AQMSE is regularly solicited for medical training for family physicians, various sports groups or for “general public” information.
• It speaks out on issues related to sports medicine in the best interests of the population. The involvement of the AQMSE in sports doping is a good example.
• Their objectives are to ensure the well-being of sports enthusiasts, to promote education and medical research, to make sports medicine known and recognized.
