Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurses of Houston (PAPN)

Description:
PAPN is an organization of professional Psychiatric Mental Health Advanced Practice Registered Nurses that provides the education, infrastructure, collaborative relationships and commitment to fulfill our practice and is dedicated to meeting current and future mental health needs with patient-centered and safe mental health care.

The organization is in it’s 6th year and we are 81 members strong and growing. The membership is very excited about the accomplishments under past leadership and look forward to continuing the work that was started.

PAPN goals for 2017-2018 are to continue to:
• Provide a forum for advanced practice psychiatric nurses to exchanged ideas and foster networking.
• Promote excellence in clinical practice through peer education and consultation.
• Support the development of advanced practice psychiatric nurses in and around Houston.
