Portuguese Society of Pediatric Nephrology / Sociedade Portuguesa de Nefrologia Pediatrica (SPNP)

The Portuguese Society of Pediatric Nephrology (SPNP) was established in 1986 and is part of the Portuguese Society of Pediatrics (SPP). It is a scientific society, which aims to promote the development of renal health, acting with excellence, for the benefit of the Portuguese pediatric population.

SPNP's mission is to:
• Spread ideas and promote the updating of knowledge;
• Establish contacts and promote national and international exchanges between different professionals linked to the specialty;
• Stimulate research and development in the field of Pediatric Nephrology; Actively intervene in reflection on the methodology and content of teaching Pediatric Nephrology;
• Develop educational activities in the field of Pediatric Nephrology.
