Portuguese Association of Ergonomics / Associacao Portuguesa De Ergonomia (APERGO)

Mission:
• Promote the scientific development and professional practice of Ergonomics.
• Zelar by the social function, dignity and prestige of the ergonomist profession, pr encouraging the professional and scientific valorization of its members and the defense and respect for the ethical principles that should guide its activity.
• Contribute to the defense and promotion of Ergonomics, and should be heard on legal projects that are relevant to the pursuit of its institutional purposes and, in particular, to the exercise of the profession.
• Promote the exchange of ideas and experiences between national and foreign associates and organizations, as well as interdisciplinary coordination actions, both at the level of training and research, and at the level of professional practice.
• Colaborate, sponsor and promote the edition of publications that compete for the dissemination of knowledge in Ergonomics.
• Defend the interests, rights and prerogatives of its members.
