The Portuguese Association for the Study of Pain (Associação Portuguesa para o Estudo da Dor, APED) aims to promote the study, teaching and dissemination of pathophysiological mechanisms, means of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of pain according to the parameters established by the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP).
