Pacific Dermatologic Association (PDA)

San Francisco, California, United States of America

The Pacific Dermatologic Association was founded in 1948 to offer high-quality continuing education and professional development opportunities to dermatologists practicing in the Western US, Canada, Mexico and Pacific Rim countries. The PDA is the largest regional dermatologic society in the US, and the premier educational society for dermatologists within the Pacific Rim area. Their membership includes both established, experienced thought-leaders as well as younger up-and-coming clinicians and researchers.

The PDA's two yearly meetings - Spring Training and Their Annual Meeting - emphasize high-quality learning, maximum interaction with expert speakers, and design with a work-family balance in mind.

The association is committed to helping develop the next generation of dermatologists and improve the overall quality of patient care. The PDA partners with local and regional dermatology societies, as well as dermatology residency programs, to ensure the level of training of dermatologists remains high.

The PDA has served as a leadership training ground for some of the most prominent names in dermatology today.
