Oregon Society of Clinical Hypnosis (OSCH)

The Oregon Society of Clinical Hypnosis (OSCH) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities for qualified health and mental health care professionals desiring to learn hypnosis. Theyare a component section of The American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH), the largest U.S. organization for health and mental health care professionals using clinical hypnosis.

They have been involved in hypnosis training and education dating back to 1956 when the society originally began as the Portland Academy of Hypnosis. From that time to the present, we have trained hundreds of licensed health care professionals in how to use hypnosis safely and ethically within their scope of practice.

Mission:
As a professional community They encourage cooperation among members of diverse professional and scientific disciplines with regard to the ethical clinical use of hypnosis. They promote excellence in the use of hypnosis by qualified health and mental health care professionals to advance appreciation of scientific research, education and standards and to educate others about the value, applications and ethical use of hypnosis.
