The New Jersey Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (NJAOPS) is the sixth largest state affiliate of the American Osteopathic Association. NJAOPS represents the interests of more than 11,500 active osteopathic physicians, residents, interns and medical students.
Founded in 1901, NJAOPS is one of the most active medical associations in New Jersey, with 6 regional societies, and the largest medical conference in the region (AROC).
NJAOPS has a long history of providing high quality education and resources to benefit their members as clinicians, as well as professionals. Their numerous programs and services are designed to keep their members informed on the most up-to-date medical, legislative, legal and business related information available. Through live conferences, publications, and online media, NJAOPS provides awareness and understanding that help osteopathic professionals advance patient care. In addition, we engage in many advocacy activities that involve legislative relations and scholarship opportunities to support the future of osteopathic medicine within the state.
