Eating Disorders Network / Netzwerk Essstoerungen

The Eating Disorders Network has been working for those affected and their families for over 30 years. It was founded in 1990 on the initiative of Professor Dr. Günther Rathner as a non-profit, non-profit organization operating throughout Austria, making it one of the oldest organizations in this field in the German-speaking world.

Since its founding, the Eating Disorders Network has set itself a broad range of tasks, ranging from public relations work to raise awareness of and awareness of eating disorders, to counseling and motivational work for those affected and their families, to prevention and health promotion.

Beginning under the scientific direction of Professor Dr. Günther Rathner, the Eating Disorders Network has organized 27 International Scientific Conferences on Eating Disorders to date. These conferences are among the largest conferences on this topic in German-speaking countries. From the very first conference, these conferences have been open to those affected, their families, and experts.
