Nepal Association of Urological Surgeons (NAUS)

Nepal Association of Urological Surgeons (NAUS) was established in the year 2005. With the increasing demand of urological services and very few urologists in the country it was necessary to have an association of surgeons who is practicing urology. So first historical meeting of urologists and urology practicing doctors was held in Hotel Shankar, Lazimpat, Kathmandu in July 15, 2004. Only 16 members had attended this meeting. The main aim of the meeting was to form a urological association which will formulate its rules, regulations. The name of urological society was decided as Nepal Association of Urological Surgeons.
