For over 100 years, the Nebraska Optometric Association has represented the interests of Optometrists in Nebraska and continues to be dedicated in protecting and advancing the profession. The NOA's primary focus is on advocacy, ie. lawmakers, regulators, third party insurance payors, and consumers. It works to enhance the professional knowledge and skills of its members and their staff as well as providing resources to maximize the business success of member practices. NOA's goal - to enhance the vision care and health of the public and to provide convenient access to quality eye care.
The Nebraska Optometric Association’s membership includes over 275 licensed doctors of optometry throughout the state. Nebraska Optometrists are independent primary health care providers who examine, diagnose, treat and manage diseases and disorders of the vision system, the eye, and associated structures, as well as diagnose related systemic conditions.
