Mr Ashok Rokade

Mr Rokade is a Consultant Rhinologist and Facial Plastic surgeon at the Hampshire Hospitals NHS Trust, winchester and Skull Base Surgeon at the Southampton University Hospital NHS Trust.

Mr Rokade obtained higher surgical training in ear, nose and throat surgery in the West Midlands. He then undertook 18 months of advanced clinical fellowships in sinus and skull base surgery and facial plastic surgery in Nottingham, Winchester and Southampton, and a further shadowing in internationally acclaimed centres in Amsterdam. Ashok specialises in all aspects of advanced sinus surgery – approaching brain and skull base via nose as well as revision surgery, computer assisted sinus surgery and pituitary and skull base surgery. He has developed facial plastic surgery services at Winchester, which includes specialised surgery for facial skin cancer and reconstruction surgery for various traumatic and cosmetic nasal deformities. He is passionate about helping patients with debilitating facial pain and headache. Mr Roakde also runs specialised service to treat watery eyes in both adults and children.

Having completed his higher surgical training within the West Midlands, Ashok undertook two advanced surgical fellowships; the first in rhinology and facial plastic surgery (endoscopic sinus surgery and nasal reconstruction) at the Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham, and the second in advanced endoscopic sinus surgery and skull base surgery at Winchester and Wessex Neurology Centre, Southampton.

Ashok was very fortunate to train with Dr Hade Vuyk, a world renowned facial plastic surgeon in Amsterdam. Apart from general ENT he specialises in endoscopic sinus surgery, endoscopic skull base surgery, reconstruction surgery for nasal deformities and surgery for the facial skin cancer.
