Missouri Health Information Management Association (MoHIMA)

The Missouri Health Information Management Association MoHIMA began in 1952 and has continued to this date as the authority within Missouri on Health Information practices and procedures. They are an integral part of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and support their strategies to increase the visibility of the profession.

AHIMA is the premier association of health information management (HIM) professionals worldwide. Serving 52 affiliated component state associations and more than 103,000 health information professionals, it is recognized as the leading source of “HIM knowledge,” a respected authority for rigorous professional education and training.
