Concept of our comprehensive treatment

The MILLESI CENTER is committed to the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of peripheral nerve problems based on the knowledge and experience of a lifetime of outstanding work by Prof. Hanno Millesi. His pioneering clinical and scientific knowledge in this field has been built into an advanced treatment concept including microsurgery on the nerve and restorative/reconstructive surgery for functional improvement.

Goal of our comprehensive treatment concept

Our goal is to maximize a patient's functional recovery, minimize their suffering, and help them realize their full potential despite being afflicted with difficult, painful, and sometimes disabling peripheral nerve disorders. We provide the best specialists, from diagnosis through surgical treatment up to neuro-rehabilitation, using advanced knowledge of brain plasticity processes. A detailed history and clinical examination are crucial to diagnosing your peripheral nerve problem to begin with. These are completed during your first visit. You will likely require electrophysiological studies and perhaps imaging studies as well to provide additional, vital diagnostic information. Once surgery is indicated a surgical team plans the different surgical steps including microsurgery and restorative and/or reconstructive or palliative procedures as needed.
