Dr. Mike Reeder is a sports medicine physician, educator and cyclist.
Dr. Reeder is fellowship trained in Primary Care Sports Medicine and board certified in Emergency Medicine. He practiced for 25 years caring for active patients, both young and old, of all abilities. This included youth and collegiate athletes, professional athletes, Olympians, and Senior Games participants. He has taken that clinical experience into the academic world at Colorado Mesa University at the Monfort Family Human Performance Lab and is the Medical Director for CMU’s Physician Assistant Program (Click Here for CMU bio).
He is also passionate about being involved in practical medical education that focuses on improvement of patient care. Over the years he has enjoyed being involved in the education of students, residents, sports medicine fellows, and other physicians. He is the current Medical Director of the Physician Assistant Program at Colorado Mesa University and a Preceptor for St. Mary’s Family Medicine Residency.
