Why MHASEE has been Created:
• To create a scientific community dedicated to mental health
• To promote the training, the information, the education and the research on mental health for the purpose of improving the quality of patients life.

Projects and Main Directions:
• Continuous information, education and training for Healthcare professionals interested in mental health.
• Promotion and development of drug-clinical research on mental health.
• The creation, publication and distribution of books, periodicals, pamphlets, posters, leaflets, computer programs and other informational material.
• To organize educational programs to raise awareness and knowledge on mental health.
• Implementation of programs and campaigns to promote health, a way of balanced and healthy life, to fight the use of hallucinogens and narcotics.
• To collaborate with other individuals, local authorities, other institutions and government organizations, non-governmental organizations in the country and abroad, for the realization of projects of interest for mental health.
• To represent the common interests of the members, in agencies and national and international organizations as well.
What Are MHASEE'S Goals:
• To raise awareness about mental health issues and the importance of prevention and treatment.
• To identify key aspects of mental health research and treatment that leads to a better quality of life.
• To initiate, promote and encourage the exchange of ideas, projects and scientific research of any kind in the field of mental health.
• To provide current valuable information of scientific and educational value on mental health.
• To identify the resources and skills needed to deepen the knowledge and scientific development in the field of mental health.
