The Maryland Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons is the an ophthalmology society that enlightens and influences public awareness pertaining to ophthalmology issues; acts as advocate for patient quality of care, articulates and advocates needs and interests of patients and ophthalmologists before legislative branches of local, state and national government and develops continuing education programs for physicians.
