Maryland Academy of Family Physicians (MDAFP)

The Maryland Academy of Family Physicians- Foundation was established in 1988 with the purpose of fostering the specialty of Family Medicine among medical students in order to grow the specialty by insuring an adequate supply of future family physicians.

The MDAFP-Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the quality of family health care in Maryland. We encourage pre-medical and medical students to pursue family medicine, support family medicine students in their education, and raise funds to support MDAFP-sponsored education and research projects.

Mission:
To enhance the quality of family health care in Maryland through the appropriate funding of the education, research and philanthropic projects of the MDAFP by providing significant support and stewardship of funds
