MISSION OF THE INSTITUTE:
The Institute regulates the practice of chemistry in Malaysia, represents the profession of chemistry, and promote public understanding and appreciation of chemistry. IKM also plays a key role in the socioeconomic development of Malaysia, including practicing sustainable development of our natural resources, and preserving and conserving our natural environment and resources for our future generations. The Institute is also playing a leading role in the development of chemistry in the Asia Pacific as well as internationally.
