Korean Society of Pediatric Radiology (KSPR)

Seoul, Seoul, South Korea

The Korean Society of Pediatric Radiology began in 1986 as a research meeting and became a present.
KSPR is trying to diagnose and treat children's diseases and diseases with a smaller number of members than other sub-societies. It is a society that has a special relationship with its members as well as children's love. Although there are many families with only one or two children per family due to the declining birth rate, there is a growing interest in children and the aspect of childhood disease is different from that of the past, so the role of members specializing in pediatric radiology very important. I think that it is time to need new electricity in order for the Korean Society of Pediatric Radiology to play a leading role in the diagnosis and treatment of childhood diseases. In order to do this, we need to develop and apply guidelines and diagnostic methods for the treatment of children in Korea, and we must do a lot of activities such as active participation and promotion of all members in order to establish low dose radiation examinations.
