The Korean Society of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, was founded in 1947. Earning reputation as an exemplary society over the past 67 years, the Society has grown to more than 4,300 members that composed about 3,800 specialists and 500 residents. The KORL-HNS is the leading organization devoted to Otology, Rhinology, and Head and Neck surgery and to the prevention and treatment of their department through excellence in research, clinical care, education, and public health.
Mission:
Korean Society of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery is determined to devote itself to the improvement of the ear, nose, face, and neck health of the nation and humanity.
Vision:
• First, to gain "Trust of Nation", their society foster Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Specialists that people can trust.
• Second, to develop "Medical Technology", They take initiatives for the development of new medical technology and expand treatment applications for ear, nose, face-neck areas.
• Third, their society pursues "a policy of Active Cooperation" with the government, suggesting whole-some medical policy for public health.
