Kobe University Graduate School of Medicine

School of Medicine originally was Hyogo Prefectural Medical College, which was organized based on Hyogo Prefectural Kobe Hospital that was built together with the establishment of Hyogo Prefecture. Together with the history of Hyogo Prefecture from the Meiji, Taisho and Showa era, it has changed its organization several times and in March 1968, Hyogo Prefectural Medical College was nationalized and named Kobe University School of Medicine. After a 138 years of its history, it has become one of the core school and hospital in Kansai Area.
