Italian Society of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetology / Societa Italiana di Endocrinologia e Diabetologia Pediatrica (SIEDP)

The Italian Society of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetology (SIEDP) has as its primary objective that of promoting lifelong learning and clinical and translational research of Italian Pediatrician Endocrinologists and Diabetologists and protecting the existence of the sub-specialty in order to contribute to the constant improvement of quality of care and therefore of the health of the child and adolescent.

The Pediatrician Endocrinologist and Diabetologist plays a crucial role in the assistance of children affected by congenital and acquired, chronic, rare and complex endocrinopathies, children with obesity and children with diabetes. The chronicity and complexity of most of these conditions presents us with new and often difficult challenges to face.

SIEDP wants to support and enrich the cultural and experiential baggage of all its Members and in particular of the younger ones in order to be able to competently manage all clinical conditions, even the most complex ones.
