Italian Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology / Societa Italiana di Ortopedia e Traumatologia ( SIOT)

SIOT has a prestigious office in Rome, Via Nicola Martelli 3, equipped with meeting and conference rooms, a traditional and computerized library and an internet site.

The Official Organ of the Society is the Italian Journal of Orthopedics and Traumatology, founded in 1974 by Prof. Giorgio Monticelli, currently directed by Dr. Andrea Piccioli. From the year 2000 the journal in English is published by the Society: Journal of Orthopedic and Traumatology (Editor in chief: Prof. M. d'Imporzano).

\The Society annually organizes a national scientific event, the "National Congress of the Italian Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology", whose presidency and organization is assigned by the Shareholders' Meeting, four years in advance.
