Summary

Non-profit Scientific Association based in Milan, was founded in 1968 by a group of professionals and scholars, convinced of the role that orthodontics could have in achieving and maintaining the state of health and well-being, through the resolution of functional disorders and problems aesthetic. The main purpose of SIDO is to form an orthodontic culture as broad and in-depth as possible, within the dentistry and medical culture, with the involvement of all the Members, through their intense commitment to constant updating and continuous collaboration with Italian Universities . This purpose is pursued through conferences, congresses, refresher courses, publications and comparisons with exponents of prestigious international schools.
