Mission:
SOI carries out activities and interventions in the scientific, professional and health policy, for the affirmation of the primary right of access to care, the improvement of quality in eye care provided to patients and the protection of the professionalism of the ophthalmologist in compliance with the principles of ethics deontology. Mobility interdisciplinary skills to conduct major projects at the service of the citizen. It supports the ophthalmological research through the promotion of scholarships, the publication of studies and results, of monothematic relationships, projects of analysis and screening of results. Protect the ophthalmological profession. It promotes and sponsors training events and scientific studies in the ophthalmology sector.
