The Italian Society of Medical and Surgical, Aesthetic Dermatology and Sexually Transmitted Diseases (with initials SIDeMaST), founded in 1885 under the name of Italian Society of Dermatology and Syphilography and established as an apolitical, non-profit and non-union non-profit organization with R. Decree 20 December 1923 n. 3010, has the purpose of promoting the study and progress of the aforementioned disciplines, the professional updating and permanent training of the members, the elaboration of guidelines, and the promotion of study trials and scientific research.
Goals:

• Develop the Infrastructure and Resources Needed to Ensure the Delivery of Appropriate Dermatology Care
• Improve Effective Communication Within Society, With Other Health Care Specialists, in the Private and Public Sectors

• Promote Research for the Prevention and Management of Skin Diseases
• Maintain the Economic Stability of the Society, Increase the Value of Membership, and Expand Membership Participation
