AIAC is the Italian Association of Arrhythmology and Cardiostimulation . It is an apolitical, non-profit association, aimed exclusively at social solidarity in the medical sector. In particular, he dedicates himself to cardiac arrhythmology and brings together about 1400 cardiologist specialists or connoisseurs of the subject , actively engaged in the fields of electrophysiology, cardiac stimulation and defibrillation.
Goals and objectives:
• To bring together all those who, due to their clinical, scientific, promotional activities, dedicate themselves to clinical and experimental arrhythmology and cardiac stimulation
• Promote the exchange of scientific information between Italian and foreign experts on the subject.
• Safeguard the ethical and deontological principles in the professional field.
• Collaborate with the main Italian and foreign cardiology associations and study groups.
• Protect the legal and economic interests of the Associates with interventions at the political-administrative authorities at national, regional and company level.
• Promote the development and coordination in the sector of the structures of the National Health Service and related to it.
• Promote training and continuing education initiatives for medical and non-medical operators in the sector.
• To constitute a point of reference for clinical practice in the field of arrhythmology and cardiostimulation by producing guidelines.
• Contribute to knowledge in the sector by promoting Congresses, Training Courses and other cultural events.
• Promote polycentric research on its own and also in combination with organizations and companies in the sector.
• The Association cannot carry out activities other than those indicated above with the exception of all those activities related to its purpose that may be useful or necessary for the achievement of the same, as well as the activities connected to it.
