International Society of Colo-Proctology (ISCP)

The International Society of Colo-Proctology (ISCP) is a society of like minded surgeons practicing colorectal surgery which was formed on 21st October 2012 at Jaipur under the able leadership & guidance of Dr.S.D.Chivate , Dr.Dinesh Jindel, Dr.J.C.Baid,Dr.Pradeep Sharma, with Dr.S.D.Chivate as the President and Dr.Dinesh Shah as Honorary Secretary . This was an organization of surgeons, to promote and spread the advancement of Colo-Rectal Surgery throughout India and beyond Initially , though the no. Of members was almost negligible but due to continuous hard work and transparency , the numbers grew to a very large no. Now covering the entire Country To day it has become a force to recon with spear heading the vast experiences and knowledge each member has acquired in his own field , to ultimately share the same with fellow surgeons.

Objectives:
The Society needs the members to support in compiling a good collection of their own articles and videos on Colo-Rectal surgery. Their surgeons are compared equal if not better than the best in the world. They have huge clusters of such patients aii over India and have similar numbers of experienced Surgeons to meet the medicare requirements so desired to provide relief to the sufferers. As a result we have enormous capability as far as knowledge and experience is concerned and the sharing of this knowledge is much faster than any other place on the World map The advancement in Colo-Rectal surgery has the advantage of early recovery and return to work and most beneficial to our patients who depend on daily bread. Their endeavour and focus should be to spread surgery to every nook and corner of India to reach the poorest of poor in remote areas. They should promote local companies to provide us the equipments at easily affordable prices so that the treatment becomes comparatively cheaper and within easy reach of masses. They need to establish uniformity and high standard of practice and training in colo-rectal surgery. They all have to get together and work towards this goal. The first step towards this is to have an audit of their work. This will give them an insight to look at theirselves and compare with others. The ISCP is a growing and dynamic organization that will continue to play a leading role in the future progress of Colo-Rectal Surgery and advanced technological developments. They invite surgeons to join the ISCP and help us to achieve their aims and objectives. Their strength and influence depend on their membership.
