ISAJE was founded as a not-for-profit organisation in 2001. The Society provides support and guidance for journal editors and staff and authors and reviewers working in the addiction field. They organize training workshops, and through online and printed material They offer guidance on ethical regulations and publication standards. They support journals published in the developing world and those published in languages other than English.
Mission:
The Society is established to promote excellence in the communication and dissemination of information on addiction and related sciences within the scientific community and to those who have responsibility for the prevention, treatment, cure, professional training and policy formation in this field.
