International Cannabinoid Research Society (ICRS)

The ICRS was formally incorporated as a scientific research society in 1992. Prior to that, Symposia were organized by various researchers in the field since 1970. Membership in the Society has risen from 50 original members in its first year to more than 650 members from all over the world.

The International Cannabinoid Research Society (ICRS) wishes to express its solidarity with members and all persons who have been directly or indirectly affected by recent world events relating to racism, injustice and inequality. They join other scientific organizations in encouraging researchers to support one another during these challenging times. They are a scientific society that thrives on Their diversity, to form relationships, and to establish a common good in scientific research and service to humanity. They stand shoulder to shoulder in solidarity with all global movements against individual and systemic racism, including #BlackLivesMatter.
