International Association of Bloodstain Pattern Analysts (IABPA)

The International Association of Bloodstain Pattern Analysts is an organization of forensic experts specializing in the science of bloodstain pattern analysis. The IABPA is currently comprised of approximately 600 members, worldwide, from various scientific, law enforcement, criminal justice and academic backgrounds.
Objectives:
The IABPA was formed in 1983 with the following objectives:
• Encourage and promote the science of Bloodstain Pattern Analysis,
• Standardize the scientific techniques of Bloodstain Pattern Analysis,
• Promote education and encourage research in the discipline of Bloodstain Pattern Analysis, and
• Inform members of the latest techniques, discoveries and developments in Bloodstain Pattern Analysis.
