International Academy of Cardiology (IAC): Cardiology Online

The International Academy of Cardiology (IAC) was founded by cardiologist Asher Kimchi, MD in order to promote global research in cardiovascular medicine through the support of scientific meetings and publications.

Over the past 28 years, the IAC has organized 25 international congresses on heart failure and heart disease in seven countries around the globe. The meetings have attracted over 18,000 physicians, scientists, and other health care professionals from more than 50 countries. These medical meetings have resulted in over 15,000 published peer-reviewed abstracts and the production of multiple educational products, including the Journal of Heart Failure, the Journal of Heart Disease, supplement issues for the Journal CARDIOLOGY and 12 books.
