Institute for Public and Social Policies / Instituto para as Politicas Publicas e Sociais (IPPS) - Higher Institute of Labor and Business Sciences / Instituto Superior de Ciencias do Trabalho e da Empresa (ISCTE)

IPPS-Iscte is a non-profit institution dedicated to promoting the quality of public and social policies at local, regional, national and international levels. Founded in 2011, the Institute is the result of an association between Iscte and several other entities in the public and social sectors. Their intervention aims to contribute to the training of people and institutions that intervene in the process of public and social policies throughout its entire cycle – from conception, planning and programming, through implementation and monitoring, to the evaluation of results and their communication. They pursue their objectives by developing training courses, projects to support the development of organizations and public events for debate and reflection on public and social policies, aimed at different types of audiences involved in public and social policies. Their activities are led by professors and researchers from Iscte, by technicians and managers from other associated entities and by several specialists who regularly collaborate with IPPS, meeting the needs of their target audiences within the scope of training for public and social policies.
