Institute for Anthroposophy-Based Psychotherapy (IABP) / Institut Anthroposophie-basierte Psychotherapie (IABP)

The IAbP Institute was founded in Stuttgart in 2019 by Dr. Johannes Reiner and Markus Treichler, both psychiatrists and psychotherapists.

The institute's mission and goal is to further develop the new concept of Anthroposophy-Based Psychotherapy (AbP® ) in research, teaching, and practice, to organize training and continuing education in Anthroposophy-Based Psychotherapy, and to organize and promote further events and publications in the spirit of Anthroposophy-Based Psychotherapy.

The institute is a member of the German Society for Anthroposophical Psychotherapy (DtGAP). The DtGAP is a member of the umbrella organization for Anthroposophical Medicine in Germany (DAMiD). Both founders are members of the Society of Anthroposophical Physicians in Germany (GAÄD). J. Reiner was a co-founder of the DtGAP and a board member from 2008 to 2020.
