Idaho Academy of Physician Assistants (IAPA)

Founded in 1977, the Idaho Academy of Physician Assistants (IAPA) is a professional association who today represents more than 400 PAs across all medical and surgical specialties in Idaho.

As a constituent chapter of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), IAPA advocates and educates on behalf of the PA profession and the patients they serve. They work to ensure the professional growth, personal excellence, and recognition of PAs. They also enhance their ability to improve the quality, accessibility, and cost-effectiveness of patient-centered healthcare.

Mission:
The Idaho Academy of Physician Assistants (IAPA) strives to be the voice of PAs in Idaho; leading through education, advocacy, community involvement and professional growth.

Purpose:
The purpose of the Idaho Academy of PAs is to advocate and educate on behalf of the profession and the patients PAs serve.

Goals:
We endeavor to provide education, communication, and advocacy to benefit Idaho PAs, and work to ensure the professional growth, personal excellence, and recognition of PAs. We provide CME opportunities, e-newsletters, publications and networking opportunities to help support you in your practice-- and career.
