The Hong Kong Alzheimer's Disease Association (HKADA) is a community based non-profit making charity organization established in 1995 committed to caring for people with dementia, a disease which causes loss of intellectual functions, affecting all facets of life, and for which no effective cure currently exists. HKADA operates 2 integrated centres, providing day-care and in-home programmes, early detection service, support groups, counseling, case management, a hotline and a resource centre. Besides, we conduct seminars for caregivers as well as professionals in dementia care and promote public awareness of the illness.

HKADA aims to provide professional and multi-therapeutic activities/ services to people with dementia and their care givers. It also provides different levels of training and education to professionals, care givers and the public, to enhance their knowledge and skills as to achieve the effects of “Early Detection, Early Treatment, Early Planning”.
