The Otological Group was founded in 1983 in Piacenza by Dr. Mario Sanna, an internationally known and respected surgeon, as a specialized institute for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the ear, skull base, paranasal sinuses and head-neck district. The Otological Group is formed by a team of highly specialized doctors and support staff whose goal is excellence in patient care. The success of this center has led it to be recognized as one of the most important institutes in the world for otological and skull base surgery receiving patients from all countries. The center is also internationally recognized for surgical training in otology, otoneurosurgery and skull base.
