GoSeqIt

Horsholm, Copenhagen (Hovedstaden), Denmark

GoSeqIt is a spinout from the Center for Genomic Epidemiology (CGE), Technical University of Denmark (DTU).

The Center for Genomic Epidemiology was established in 2010 based on funding from the Danish Council for Strategic Research. The aim of the centre was “…to provide the scientific foundation for future internet-based solutions where a central database will enable simplification of total genome sequence information and comparison to all other sequences…”

Currently, the centre has developed more than 15 methods for, e.g., bacterial species and subtype identification, antibiotic resistance and virulence prediction, and outbreak detection. Soon, GoSeqIt will provide access to these services in a way that accommodates the user's need for speed, stability, data-confidentiality, and user-friendliness.
