The German Society for Neuroscientific Assessment (DGNB) is the largest German-speaking association of interdisciplinary experts specializing in neurosurgery, neurology, psychiatry, and psychotherapy. The association currently has 830 members, approximately 250 of whom are certified DGNB experts.
It brings together experts who, on the one hand, assess according to the standards of evidence-based science. On the other hand, it is subject to the legal rules of evidence prescribed by the legislature.
To ensure this, the DGNB is free of any economic self-interest and without any economic conflicts of interest.
In addition to preparing expert reports based on scientific criteria, the DGNB is committed to the quality of basic, advanced and advanced training . The DGNB works actively in committees for the creation and updating of scientific evidence-based guidelines for assessment . The protagonists of the DGNB have so far been actively involved in all guidelines that deal with neuroscientific topics.
