The German Society for Neuroscientific Assessment e. V. (DGNB) is the largest German-speaking association of experts with an interdisciplinary focus on neurosurgery, neurology, psychiatry and psychotherapy. The society currently has 700 members, around 200 of whom are certified experts from the DGNB. It connects reviewers who, on the one hand, assess according to the standards of evidence-based science . On the other hand, she submits to the legal rules of evidence prescribed by the legislature. In order to guarantee this, the DGNB is free from economic self-interests and without economic conflicts of interest . In addition to preparing expert reports based on scientific criteria, the DGNB is committed to the quality of basic, advanced and advanced training . The DGNB works actively in committees for the creation and updating of scientific evidence-based guidelines for assessment . The protagonists of the DGNB have so far been actively involved in all guidelines that deal with neuroscientific topics.
