German Association of Occupational Therapy eV / Deutscher Verband Ergotherapie (DVE) e.V.

DVE With over 14,000 members, the DVE has a strong voice when it comes to representing the interests and needs of occupational therapists. The DVE's political influence strengthens the recognition and importance of the profession and secures the future and livelihood of occupational therapy in Germany.

As an important dialogue and negotiation partner for politicians, authorities, ministries, health insurance companies, and other healthcare stakeholders, the DVE is committed to the further development of occupational therapy – in practice, training, studies, and research. The DVE is also strongly represented internationally: as a member of the European Association (COTEC) and the World Federation of Occupational Therapy (WFOT).
