The Georgia Medical Directors Association (GMDA) is a state chapter of The Society for PostAcute and Long Term Care Medicine (AMDA). GMDA is dedicated to the unique professional interests of medical directors, facilities, and associated professionals in Georgia’s long-term care industry.

The purpose of GMDA is to represent members in the issues, values, causes, and concerns important to your practice and profession, and to work together to protect quality patient care in Georgia. GMDA provides education and resources to Medical Directors and the interdisciplinary team to keep everyone up-to-date on current issues and developments impacting the industry in order to effectively address clinical, professional, administrative, ethical, and public policy issues in long-term care.
