The Florida Society of Anesthesiologists is working to uphold the highest standards of anesthesia care and patient advocacy, by promoting research, education, and innovation in anesthesia care.

The Florida Society of Anesthesiologists is an educational, research and scientific association of physicians organized to raise and maintain the standards of the medical practice of anesthesiology and improve the care of their patients.

Since its founding in 1948, the Society's achievements have made it an important voice in Florida Medicine and the foremost advocate for all patients who require anesthesia or relief from pain.

Mission: 
FSA raise the standards of this specialty by fostering and encouraging research and scientific progress in Anesthesiology; to disseminate information relating to Anesthesology to the medical profession and to the public; to guard and protect the public against irresponsible and unqualified practitioners. To safeguard and to further the specialty of Anesthesiology for the general elevation of the standards of medical practice.
