Federation of Orthopaedic and Trauma Trainees in Europe (FORTE)

The Federation of Orthopaedic and Trauma Trainees in Europe (FORTE), was founded during the EFORT Congress of 2005, in Lisbon (Portugal). Their common goals are the improvement of orthopedic educational standards, enabling learning opportunities and promotion of colleagues network throughout their members in Europe.

At the outset, their aims are the following :
• Friendship and fellowship.
• Outreach to orthopaedic surgeons (trainee and consultants), links with industry.
• Reference point for Orthopaedic Training matters.
• Teaching and training.
• Exchange of ideas and communication.
