The EUHA is the specialist organization for hearing care professionals. Its members are committed to high technical standards in the exercise of their professional activity. With the EUHA membership you document competence, willingness to continue training and commitment. For more than 55 years we have been committed to providing qualified care for people with hearing impairments. Founded in 1960 as the Union of Hörgeräte-Akustiker e. V. (UHA), their association became the European Union of Hearing Aid Acousticians in 2004. V. (EUHA) renamed. Since 2017 the association has been called the European Union of Hearing Aid V., this change was made analogous to the change in the job title. Their members are involved in the areas of hearing protection, hearing prevention, hearing improvement, hearing rehabilitation and hearing research - areas

Objective:
The statutes of the EUHA say: “The purpose of the association is to bring together scientifically and economically interested hearing care professionals, scientists and interested laypeople who want to carry out professional training and development work in the interests of the best possible care for those affected.”

That means: We always want to be an optimal partner for people with a hearing loss in their rehabilitation with technical means and in the quality of care.

Further goals are the cultivation of common sense, a responsible professional approach and the professional honor of the members, the latter with its own rules of honor.
