Dutch Society for Dermatology and Venereology / Nederlandse Vereniging voor Dermatologie en Venereologie (NVDV)

Utrecht, Utrecht, Netherlands

Welcome to the website of the Dutch Society for Dermatology and Venereology (NVDV). The NVDV is the professional association of Dutch dermatologists, and therefore not a patient association. The association includes about 480 dermatologists, as well as about 190 doctors in training as dermatologists. The aim of the association is to promote the study of skin diseases. In addition to scientific activities and all sorts of organizational aspects, such as the protection of interests of its members, the NVDV also has a public goal, namely to inform people about the occurrence of and the background behind skin diseases. It does this by issuing publications, leaflets, but also through a medium like this website.
