Dutch Association for Calcium and Bone Metabolism / Nederlandse Vereniging voor Calcium- en Botstofwisseling (NVCB)

The Dutch Association for Calcium and Bone Metabolism (NVCB), according to its founding act of 4 May 1990, aims to stimulate scientific research into Calcium and Bone Metabolism.

The NVCB tries to achieve this by bringing basic scientists and doctors into contact with each other. The most important activity of the association is the annual autumn meeting. During the autumn meeting, members are given the opportunity to present the latest research results. In addition, the autumn meeting offers a good opportunity to exchange scientific information and to initiate partnerships between research groups from the Netherlands and Belgium. Mini-symposia will also be organized during the autumn meeting in which renowned scientists from the Netherlands and abroad will present the latest developments in the field of bone biology and the treatment of (metabolic) bone diseases.
